iMac 24" Damaged DVD drive- is it fixable?

I have had an iMac mailed to me and the DVD drive has been damaged- there is a large dent and you can't physically insert any discs.

If anyone could please look at the picture and tell if this is repairable or not- I want to know for the compensation procedure.

wow no damage to the screen? It prolly could just be bent back out if needed.
