I am looking to get a new HDTV and would like to connect my 24" iMac to it because u can never get enough screen space :) anyways, I was just wondering if I would be able to get that right resolution for the TV, Sony HDTV

Thank u

Even though the screen is larger, it has less pixels than your 24" iMac.

iMac = 1920x1200 | Sony = 1366 x 768

Try to find an HDTV with Full HD support which 1920x1080. They also make 26" monitors with the 1920x1200 resolution and then get an Elgato EyeTV for the TV tuner. Will usually be cheaper going that way too ;).

hmm its just that the place I am getting the tv from only has that one decent hdtv, but to the point I wont have any hassle getting that resolution ?

thanks anyways, in the future if I decided to buy a full HDTV i will keep that in mind :)

Oh and will be using the TV for 360/Wii/PS3

Just got the Sony TV and the only resolution I can get is 1360 x 768 but I cant get 1366 x 768! Any help ?
