iMac 24" RAM

So the new 24" is a single 1GB So-Dimm I hear. That is pretty damn cool!

So would it be okay to pair that memory with say a 1GB Crucial Stick?

it's absolutely fine, just as long as it is 5300(maybee 6400 works) 667mhz, 200 pin non-ecc then it should work just lovely. Although you might be able to save a bundle by just buying from someone who is updating to 4gb of RAM and has a spare 1gb apple stick left

isn't it the same RAM that is used for the MBP? I'm selling mine to get an iMac and if so I'm keeping the extra gig i put in there.

All of the intel Corexxxx Macs use the same type of RAM - DDR2-667 SODIMMs.
