Hi, ive had my 24inch imac for a little while now and have noticed a couple of 'bugs' and was curious if this is c2d teething bugs or as this is my 1st intel mac if they are common intel osx problems, these bugs include:
* front row sometimes randomly activates.
* icons appearing on destop after download etc dont appear unless restarting the finder via force quit
* trash not emptying unless finder restarted as above (and i dont mean the usual closing text edit or preview nonsense.

so are these common osx86 problems or new to imac c2d ? will we see these disappear with a software update or come leopard?

I had a 24" iMac for a while, before I upgraded to the Mac Pro, and I NEVER experienced any of the issues you are speaking of...

Thats a new one on me.

Is your OS X up to date? If it is, i'd suggest resinstalling the OS, as thats definitely not right. Sounds like finder is broken somehow.

Have you tried the usual resetting the PRAM (command, option, P, R after the chime), repairing disk permissions in disk utility?
