Why aren't they listed in the store anymore? I was just about to purchase one and they are no where to be found.

No clue.
Call Apple and ask...

Really have you read the frontpage or the forum at all last 24h?

New iMac's are out, I realize that.. but why remove the 24" off the site? They will still sell.

Apple never continues selling the previous models even if they have stock - they'll no doubt end up in the refurb section of the store at some point. That's just how it is with Apple, they try and only sell the latest models.

Hopefully not to long from now then.

Will this run Call of Duty 4 and the newest Call of Duty to come out just fine on parrell desktop?

I went to apple store last night and they had none of the new stuff on display. they still had all the 24" models around. that made me think, they will eventually gather all them up from all the stores and probably sell them as refurbs.

i bet you could also buy one new from places like macmall.com , maczone.com or macconnections.com

Do you NEED a 24"? Apple replaced the 24" with a 27" thus the 27" is the new 24". It's still roughly the same price so you basically get a bigger and better system at the same price point.

if you go to macmall and use their advance search for "imac 24" and select the box "Show Products Available for Shipping", you will find and open=box 24" to buy

You can get 24" in refurbished for 1,100 compared to 27" at a much higher price.

i've bought from the refurb section of apple store before. They come with same warranty. It's really a sweet deal. Your just getting last years model, if that doesn't bother you.

I can't decide if I want a 24" or get a Macbook Pro and buy a 24" HD display later on and just dual monitor it.
