Just curious, but does anyone know the last time Apple updated the drivers for the iMac's ATI 2400XT (the one in the current base aluminum model) got updated? I'm curious as to whether they're still improving it or if they've moved on as I've just gotten back into gaming on my machine.

OS X. As far as I know, Apple writes custom drivers (or implements them at the very least), and installs them via software update (1.*.* updates usually). If only I could go to ATI and download the latest greatest... but they don't even offer them.

OS X - they come hidden within OS X updates.

Windows - you need to download the latest drivers from ATI and then install them using Mobility Modder.

Thanks Alexis, but I already know this. What I'm trying to ask is if anyone knows the last time they were updated. Thanks.
