sorry to disturb my English is not good
Because my original imac 27 2010 HD5750 failed,
I bought another 2009 HD4850 and installed it on this one
After installing the HD4850, it does work, but when I open Macs Fan Control, I find that the core temperature cannot be detected and the GPU Proximity is missing.
Is this normal? My motherboard number 820-2901-a
Also, is there any problem if the 4pin cable on the LED driver board is not connected back? My cable is broken

So the monitor is still displaying image without that flat cable?
Had I known this earlier, I didn't have to spend 2 months waiting for the cables to be delivered to me.
They are cheap, though.
iMac OEM cable is 5$/piece.
Normal TV cable (it's called FPC cable, 0.5mm 4pin, same side of length at least 30cm) cost about 0.5~1 USD/piece.

There is no GPU proximity sensor, your GPU heat sink sensor is working fine. Probably the HD4850 is not a genuine apple part but a flashed dell card hence you will not get GPU die readings.
Just add about 5-10 degrees to the GPU heat sink temp if you want to know the die temp.
