Hi everyone!
Several weeks ago I purchased a really cheap Mac Mini Late 2012 (i7) and give it a try using Opencore Legacy patcher. I've topped it to 16GB of RAM and dual 500GB SSD and installed Ventura as Sonoma runs a little odd
After giving it a try I've seek a real bargain Late 2013 27" I7 wich I'm considering to purchase in order to get a legacy but compatible Metal GTX 7XX so I can try Sonoma and use it as well for general purpose (Browsing, home video editing, Etc.)
I plan to upgrade both mechanical and NVME SSD for the cheap and would like to know wich NVME SSDs will be compatible with and adaptor, in order to get a 256 or 512 unit
I also want to replace the internal mechanical HDD for an SSD. I've read quite a lot about this change and the internal hard disk temperature sensor. Some websites say it needs that extra hardware and some users say that when updating the OS it also updates the UEFI and the OS reads the internal SSD or HDD SMART sensor instead of the external one, not sure about this point.
My main doubt is about wich cheap NVME SSD I can install flawlessly.
Thanks for your help!
