Hey everyone,
Got a 27 inch iMac 2013, with the i5 3.4GHz and GTX 775M. Running Windows 10 (with high performance settings.)
I've previously had this exact same model (but with Windows 7), but never remember it spinning the fan up so much when gaming.
This model ramps the fan up to max when under heavy load. For example playing Dawn of Discovery: Venice, with max settings at 2560x1440, getting 82 FPS, the GPU hit 92C and the CPU was 80-85C.
If I turn v-sync on and drop all the settings to lowest, the temps max out at about 60 for CPU and about 70 for the GPU and the fan's normal. Can't be heard.
Just wondering if this is the average for this model or if the temps should be a bit lower? Ambient's probably around 30-35.
