Hello together!
My beloved iMac broke the display last week. I first wanted to remove the display completely. Unfortunately, it goes into safety mode (system very slow, fans spin up) because it can't read the display temperature. Now I disassembled the display and left only the bar on top (I'm too stupid to detach the sensor from it). Closed the iMac with a cover and the system actually works quite well. Unfortunately, of course, it still recognizes the internal display.
Is there any way in BigSur to disable this internal display? Maybe through a kext?
Sorry for my bad english!
Thank you in advance!
Greetings
