My iMac usually gets "stuck" during 1 of the the several reboots that happen during a Catalina update.
Usually I notice it is stuck (meaning the OS rebooted the Mac but the mac never booted, almost like the command to reboot from code didnt follow thru).
Usually I just hit the power button a few times and it resumes.
Yesterdays update, I almost couldn't get the iMac to continue. The eventual fix was to hold the power button "while" I plugged in the iMac...
Anyway, now that my Mac is back, anyone else experience this and know the fix ?
Do I need to do a clean install of Catalina ?
I would prefer to fix without a clean install but if that is what I need so be it.
Thanks in advance.
