Hi, yesterday I bought a brand new baseline 2017 27" 5k iMac running 10.13.4, i5 3,4ghz, 8gb, Radeon Pro 570, 1TB Fusion Drive

I have a problem with Adobe CC apps, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, for most of the part, they work ok, but panning and scrolling around the page creates lag, which didn't occur in my previous, lower spec'd PC, I am running the latest cc 2018 apps, any ideas on fixing this ? I have already tried CS6 versions, and it's the same.

Thanks, Jacob

Disclaimer: I don't use Adobe products.

But... from what I've read elsewhere ... Adobe programs (because of their internal coding) aren't known for "speed"...

I welcome correction from others.

If you're working on very large documents, more RAM -might- help.

Have you run any benchmark tests on the internal fusion drive?
What kind of read/write speeds are you getting?

It needs few days for op sys to start working faster and smooth if you bought mac yesterday. Also you can easily upgrade ram, that will help. I have the same machine, but do not use it in professional purposes.
