So whenever I tell it to go to sleep the screen will fade to black, and everything seems to stop, like music, videos etc, but I can feel the fan running (nearly silent, but warm air does keep coming out, all the time).
Figured it might be Power nap, turned it off, but didn't seem to make a difference.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or if this is normal behaviour (e.g. a workaround they put in for all the death sleep issues this iMac used to have)?
For what it's worth, it wakes up really quick, compared to when it was new and it would take a second.
I should also note that I use both a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse (nothing wired), maybe it's staying on monitoring for a wake command from them?
Running macOS 10.12.1 on 2014 5k iMac (first gen 5k iMac)
Edit:
Hmm, just found this post, seems it was an issue with some of the first gen iMac 5K's, guess I'll have to live with it now since mine is definitly out of it's 1 year warranty now
