iMac 27" as external display of MacBook in closed clamshell mode.

Hello there.

I have iMac 27" and MacBook Pro 15". I recently bought Belkin Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort Cable to use iMac as external display of MacBook Pro.

I was hoping to be able to use my MacBook Pro in closed clamshell mode as it described here. But if I close MacBook Pro, iMac works as primary display for a 2 seconds and after that disconnects from MacBook.

How to make it work in closed clamshell mode?

PS. I just checked, MacBook works perfectly in closed clamshell mode with my LCD TV and still doesn't work with iMac. Where is the problem?
