iMac 27" + BC2 = Freezes?

Hey guys.

My mac has been locking up in BC2, the problem seems to be specific to that game, but also specific to this computer. I have a feeling it is a sound card issue.

I'm on an i5 / 5850m / Win7 Ultimate.

it could just be faildows.
I had the exact same problem on a pc I used to own.
