Hi

I am looking foward to maybe buying a 27" iMac. I saw an ad on Kijiji for one, the seller says that he accidentally broke a cable. Can somebody make out what cable it might be and if it ca be an easy fix? I don't know the exact model, the seller doesn't say.

I know the picture is blurry....

Thanks.

Is that a cable that can just be replaced with another one or it is soldered onto to screen pcb?

My opinion:
Unless you are technically savvy, you ought to "let this pass by".
Buy a WORKING iMac instead.
Could save you A LOT of trouble and hassles.

I already bought it and it is working fine even without the vsync cable. I ordered one anyway. It has 16gb of RAM and a 3tb hdd, an ssd caddy in place of the odd and it is an i7. All of that for 100$ CAN. I'm repasting everything and cleaning all of the dust.
