Hello all. first of all sorry for my english because I'm from Russia. :)

I planned to buy a iMac but met on the internet many words about the problems with the display (yellow, flickering, etc.). Tell me please, these problems still remain, or the last delivery is normal? In Russia, I pay for my iMac 27, i7, 8GB about $ 4000 so I was very concerned about the problems with the display. Thank you.

As far as I know, the problem has more or less been solved though there are still some iMacs with it but it's not so widespread anymore. By the way, where in Russia do you live? If you live near Finland, you could make a trip here and buy one for 2000€ (2400$), that's 1600$ cheaper. E.g. Verkkokauppa even sells iMacs with Russian keyboard and has much employees who speak Russia. Just a thought, nothing more

I am glad that the problem is no longer as prevalent as before. I am very far from Finland.

Hello, I recently(3 weeks ago) bought the 27" i5 in Moscow, Russia and the machine is great with no problems. The machine was built in April 2010. That price appears very high considering I paid $2600.00 for mine but mine also only has 4gb of ram and is the i5.

Have you looked at www.price.ru and done a search for better prices?

OK! It's cool and now i'm buy it, I think :) I'm so far from Moscow and I can get Mac only in my local store (resellers) because if i ordered it online I'm afraid about problem with ensured and care. And in Russia we don't have Apple Care, no Genius Bar, only local repair organizations ((( So, Mac 27, i7, 8GB about 4000$ (115000-120000 rub.)

And if he lives near China, he can go over there and get one for 500 bucks.

Really, Russia is huge.

Yeah, Russia is huge. )))

China not so far from me, but delivery so big box is big problems and big money. I think this 500 bucks i spent on post service ((

And buy expensive mac in another country it's not good idea for my small town, because i'm not sure about my local store (official or not).

p.s. Sorry my english. (In gogole translate worse :) )

Thx for support guys.
