After I put my iMac to sleep or it goes to sleep automatically, it has been waking up on its own. I did a search here and shut off wake from bluetooth mouse (keyboard is wired) and that didn't help. Does anyone know of this problem and its solution?

Thank you for the advice. I am waiting to get my backup hard drive in the mail and after I do a time machine backup, I will try what you said. I'll post back results in case anyone has the same problem.

If it's waking up from time to time, but the screen stays off, then immediately going back to sleep afterwards, it's just waking for network access.

I've had this problem on my 24 inch iMac and someone on here said to uncheck the "wake for network access" option in the energy saver. I did that but I cant say I've tried putting my iMac to sleep since I've done it. So I'm not sure that is a fix, just a suggestion.
