Resolved iMac 27" Late 2015 Data Damaged

Hey all, I'm having a weird issue with my iMac since today that I turned it on I was using it normally and then suddenly all the applications and my data became damaged, no App is opening at all, not even terminal or System Preferences all I get is a Window PopUp saying that the App is corrupted or damaged. I basically don't know what to do to fix this.
Appreciate any help.

things you might try:
look at SMART status (under System Report),
press and hold shift at bootup to boot into safe mode.
run disk utility
use Apple diagnostics (press and hold "d" at bootup.)
 
Thanks for all help, what helped me was restoring the system from a Time Machine Backup.
