So I have 2 iMac's basically setup identically, using Outlook 2011 on both. Same user/network setup etc. I can add an exchange account to one with no problems, I do the exact same setting on the other and it will not show the gree light on the account and keeps telling me that the user name or password is incorrect. Both iMacs are attached ot the same local network where the exchange server is located, same account id, same network user id etc. I can not for the life of me figure out why one setup works and the other doesn't.

Any ideas?

This begs the question:

How do you know that the Exchange account settings on your two computers are identical?

Well because I set both up identically...

But problem solved...

I uninstalled all of Office 2011 o nthe iMac giving me problems. Reinstalled from my source CD, it worked instantly, then a few hours later it stopped working. I noticed that an automatic update came down from the office update service. I then checked the website myself for updates and a much new update was avalaible (14.3.9). So I downlaoded and installed it and everything is working fine again! So problem seems to me that Microsoft has a buggy update?
