Good reference on BareFeats. However, can somebody please point to a website that tests hardware with real world applications, and not synthetic benchmarks or games? I want to know what difference the i7 makes vs the i5 when running software I'm going to be running - FCS and LS. That will help me make a decision - it really is not that interesting to me what a geekbench synthetic test says. REAL WORLD, please!!! Any ideas?

I waiting for... I have a macpro 08... maybe I move to that imac quad, I never buy a imac for reasons of power... mac pro are for me, but now... imac quad... 27 led inch... etc... sounds great... just miss the blu ray...
