I've been looking around but have been unable to find a solid answer on this one.
I'm currently using a 24" HP monitor (IPS) hooked up to a 2006 Macbook Pro. There are really only a few games I can play on this thing, but when I can, it's kind of unplayable (I think the response time is around 12ms).
How does the iMac fare in terms of gaming (response time wise)? I couldn't really get a good idea on its response time at the store, but the mouse movement seemed pretty immediate and responsive (honestly, on my monitor I have now, it almost looks like people's voices don't sync up with their lips...it's primarily a monitor for color, as I work in Photoshop and Illustrator a lot).
While gaming isn't a primary reason for me getting a new computer, I'd like the option to play something if I can.
