iMac 27" Software Update taking long time..

So I'm updating my two computers: 13" MBP and 27" iMac, and it took probably 8 minutes to fully update the MBP (7 things, including the 2010 Mac OS X 10.6.4 update. My iMac, however, is showing "about 31 hours", to complete this, and it's been this way for almost an hour. I thought it would go down, but it's not. Any ideas why this is happening? This computer is less than a week old, my MBP is a year old. Thanks
