Hey,

I am looking at buying a 27" refurbished C2D iMac (mine has died). The thing is, my desk is 97x52cm. Do you think this will be too big? My room isn't huge either, however I'm ok with it dominating the room, it's so nice!

Thanks,
Anthony

Well, only you know it. I wouldn't find it too big, more like the opposite (dual 27" *drool*) :p It's not that much bigger than 24"

Yeh I'm using a 24" atm and even that is too small for me now lol. But seeing as how the 27" is a much higher resolution than the 24" you can fit more on.

What I want to know though is how much smaller things will appear on the 27" than the 24" 1900x1200.

Ok, I looked up all the size measurements of the 27" and drew the corners onto my wall. It does look pretty big and I'm not sure I will use all that screen space. But 21" just seems so small now, anyone got any experience of a second hand 24"?

Go for it! I bought the 27" Imac in Dec after moving from a pc with 24' screen. At first it looks ssooo big but it is surprising how quickly you adjust to it. Now, I love it and could not go back to anything smaller!!

Right I just went to my Apple store and tried out the 27". It feel so so huge! I'm not so worried about the size on my desk now, but the screen is so nice. And I am planning to plug a PS3 into it as well. I hope when the next update comes they will have an HDMI input as I really cba with all the adaptors etc.
