Hi, I purchased my iMac last Sunday and I love it.

I've downloaded the latest update however Im experiencing issues with watching videos on youtube it seems to be jerking intermittently and audio seems to be quite crackly.

Im tempted to call the apple store and see what they suggest, It's such a heavy machine though to cart around.
Anyone have any suggestions?

That's terrible. I bought my 27" c2d on Tuesday and updated and everything is running smoothly for me. I think you should call your local Apple store and tell them your problem. I hope you get you iMac fixed soon, this truly is a great machine.

Thanks, Im now getting a a grey/white bar flashing across the width of the display intermittently.. I've managed to capture it on video on my phone.

Then you may have a defective iMac. Get that fixed asap. That shouldn't be happening at all.

Prior to the update, I had Youtube issues as well. The update cleared it all up for me. Make sure you did the installation of the update (reboot) and if that doesn't work, I would try to get another 1.
