iMac 27inch VESA mount - Old part same as new part ?

Part in question for the 27 inch iMac (which also fits 24inch aluminum, and cinema display). Can't find this in any stores near me yet:

Old part (compatible with 24inch aluminum iMac and Cinema display (existed prior to new iMac):

So if the new one fits the same machines, with the addition of the new iMac that didn't exist prior - does it sound reasonable that they are likely the same part? If someone knows of a difference, do tell!

Ok, I'll answer this myself since nobody here (or at the Apple store, for that matter) has the answer.

I bought the 'old' part, and works just fine. I have the new part on order, so if it shows up I'll know for certain. That is if I cannot get in to cancel the order in time.
