iMac 3.06ghz i3 = Will this RAM work in my system?

The only knock I see is the cas latency is 8 and I believe the original that is in my system is a 9.

I am trying to upgrade my iMac to 8gbs or Ram. 4 gb from standard from apple and 4 more gb from 3rd party

should work fine, as long as it's the same type.

It should work fine. Intel chipsets aren't as picky as NVIDIA
