iMac 3 10.13.6 won't open Hamsphere 4.0 Help!

I have an iMac 3 10.13.6 I'm trying to run this program hamsphere_4.0.10a I can get the program to open but it will not display the transceiver. It says it is loading up, logs me out, I log back in, says it is loading transceiver and every once in awhile it will flash, then nothing. Any help would be appreciated. It may have JAR files in it??
