Hi there,

has of the lucky owner of the new top range iMac tested its 3dmark06 and PCMark05 bechmarks under XP/Vista?

I am interested in the iMac to replace my aging PC (Athlon XP 2500+, GeForce 7800 GS AGP, 2GB), but I still want to do some PC gaming now and then.

Also what I would loved to have seen on the iMac is an additional DVI port to hook up a second display or HD TV.... :D

Thanks

Andreas

The iMac has a mini-DVI port and supports a secondary display with a resolution up to 1920x1200. This feature has been available on all Intel iMacs. You just need a video adapter, they're A$35 - not sure about the US$ price.

Did you mean you wanted a second video out?

Thank you very much! I somehow overlooked that feature on the apple webside. I just need one DVI out to hook up a second display...

Because otherwise I would not know what to do with my Dell 20" display and working with two displays is realy helpfull.

Getting more tempted now :)

Thanks again!
