iMac 5k sleeps when gaming

I have a iMac 5k late 2014. I don't play a lot of games on it but when I do it sometimes goes to sleep while I am playing. It seems to do it more when I first launch the game or if I switch away with Mission Control and then switch back. Is anyone else having this issue?

Is the iMac over-heating? If the Mac is basically shutting down, its for a reason, over heating, hardware malfunction etc I'd say that behavior is not normal and you should perhaps run the Apple Hardware Test to see if anything kicks out in the test

I ran Apple Hardware Test and it said everything is good. Must be something else?
