Hiya

I wanted to know where a good place to sell my 2021 iMac keyboard & mouse accessories would be. Keyboard is the TouchID + numpad option.
They aren’t ergonomic, and I absolutely hate the way the magic mouse’s scroll wheel tracks/goes up & down. I tried looking up the accessory names, but I’m not seeing any colorful ones available from the iMac on Craigslist, eBay etc. I also can’t get a price from my local BestBuy because they aren’t accepting phone calls for whatever reason, and emails don’t seem to work either. Has anyone sold these accessories or have any pricing advice? If I don’t need them, I figure someone else would like them.

You might want to just keep them as if you decide to re-sell or trade-in your iMac down the road the price with accessories will be higher than without.

Otherwise, probably try eBay or CraigsList. There is also the MacRumors Marketplace.

They are hard to get right now without buying an iMac. On eBay you can get $300 to $450 for them. It's too bad you opened their packaging to try them as it's probably closer to $300 now. Those are sold items on eBay. Although the Extended keyboard option might help get it to $400.

It'll also depend on color. I expect orange will command more than silver for instance.

Example Sold

Just sell them as Mint "Color" iMac Extended Keyboard Touch ID Magic Mouse. Any original packaging you have. Put back as original as possible and take a whole lot of detailed pictures.

I'd try Craigslist and Offerup first. To avoid big ebay fees, returns and such. But wouldn't dawdle too long. As the high value won't last.

While that's true. They'll likely be worth much more now than any value they'll ever add to a used iMac later.

This value will also drop as top paying collectors get the mouse and keyboard they want. Plus as more and more of them enter the market. Once Apple releases them for order. Perhaps when the colored Macbook Airs come out. Their value will plummet.

If you live in an urban area, also try NextDoor as a sales channel. I've used it very successfully for selling my used Apple gear. No worries or cost for shipping, and cash payment.

If you have an interesting color touch ID keyboard (non-numerical), I might throw you an offer. Feel free to PM.
