iMac Airport conflicting hardware specs

I bought an older 17" white iMac G5 for my work shop (not taking my newer aluminum one out there!) and it is a 1.8 ghz 80gb white 1st or second gen (I have not determined if it has the ambient sensor or not as of yet). I have read conflicting specs on whether or not this unit takes airport or airport extreme cards. Does anyone know for SURE? It will be a few days until I have this in my hands to look and I'd like to pre-order the card to expedite getting it set up.

I SHOULD be looking to an Apple A1126 Airport card if I am reading right.

There is only one 1.8GHz model with the 17" G5 iMacs, and it is the one with ALS.

it appears as though I am going to have to do a coin flip as I don't have my hands on it to know if it is the gen 1 or 2 version of the 1.8.

To find out what Mac you have, go to the green number 3 and compare it with the stats above.

Ah frell. I'm handicapped when it comes to long time attention spans, especially when I'm doing something else on the side. Sorry.




Ahhhh, I've seen my way out. I hope so, but three times is the charm.

Take a look at the first image in my second post and take a look at the HDD capacity of the first (of the three) models. Gotcha?
