imac alum 24" fan HUM after 1.1

The computer seems to be running much cooler, but there is an annoying hum if running any app but word processing....yikes. I put my ear to the machine and it sounds like the fan and I definitely feel the air moving on my hand.

Anyone else get this after the 1.1 update?

I am not experienceing any of the other isolated issues that people were having like graphics crashes or sluggishness...

it just stopped......awesome...woops...it's back

What temperatures is it running? What are the fan speeds? One of the iSlayer products might be able to help you find this out.
