Imac Aluminium staining

Hi,

Im just wondering if anybody has experienced any sort of aluminium pitting or staining to the Imac Aluminium and if so how can you remove it as i recently found some very very small minor sort of aluminium staining or pitting under the apple sign of my 27 inch late 2015 top spec i7 retina imac,

i regularly clean it with Iklear but there is a spot what just does not seam to come off, only noticeable in curtain lighting but as i am plaining on selling it soon for a new 2017 model i am concerned this could be an issue when i come to sell it as people who buy these products with right are very picky.

I heard there might be some sort of chemical that can do this but my computers no longer under warranty so im very skeptical any help is greatly appreciated.

I used to work as a color matcher (shader) for an automobile paint manufacturer and dealt with all kinds of paint. I believe (think) Apple achieves the color by using anodized paint which something I personally never worked with. However paint is paint and my suggestion is never ever use any kind of solvent or cleaner, so I would suggest stop using iKlear on it. If anything use a lightly damp cloth that was dampen with good old H20. I personally just use a smooth cloth to clean the Aluminum. I just bought an iMac Pro and I notice the paint job on the computer wasn't as good as I expected it to be, but it looks good enough for me and I didn't buy the computer for its looks. Though it probably just me, for I worked as a shader for close to 20 years and probably just my nitpicking gene coming through. If my memory serves me right pitting usually means there was dirt particles on the aluminum before it was painted or anodized in this case (it wasn't clean properly), but sometimes it's the paint itself for it wasn't made correctly and/or filtered properly. It's my opinion you'll just make matters worse if you keep on cleaning it with iKlear.
