Hi,

I noticed strange lines on my Mac screen they are different from previous "vertical line issue"

This how lines look, and the question is: IS THIS under warranty? Has anybody same problem? Thanks.

Yeah, same thing happening on mine. Can't seem to find much info on it because of that OTHER vertical line issue.

Mine is a 20" Alum. iMac, 2GHz Core 2 Duo (running Leopard 10.5.6).

Did you find any solutions? Or anyone else?

I have the same sort of problem except that mine are vertical and closer together. Also on other parts of the screen it looks like there is image retention similar to that on a plasma tv. It is really wierd and I can't find anything either. Darker colours also look worse than bright whites.

My imac is the 3.06ghz 24 inch one and I only got it last september for film.

I hope there is some fix or it is under warranty.

Service replaced LCD panel with no questions asked.

Yes, it's under warranty.
