Hi

Im looking at getting an iMac soon and wondered how i would go about connecting my surround sound system to it. The only connection i have on the system is red and white coaxial cables. However i want the sound to be 5.1. Even if it just splits it (and doesn't go real surround). Any help much appreciated, thanks.

what you can do is get a 3.5mm to left/right female audio splitter. that way you can then connect the speakers to the splitter and thats that.

i am surprised that the logitech system doesnt have 3.5mm in, that would be easier and best quality as i believe you can somehow get 5.1 from it if its a special one with three black rings (which ive seen, although i dont know where from)
