Where the Air Force sends me
I just downloaded medialink to allow my PS3 to access my music from my iMac wirelessly. I went to start medialink and it said "MediaLink could not start because port 1900 or 9386 is in use. Please quit any application that may be using these ports, wait a few minutes and try again."

How do I free up these ports so I can listen to music on my surround sound?

Thanks

Try TwonkyMedia instead. That is what I use and it works great for both PS3 and Xbox 360 media streaming.

thanks i'll give it a try... is it free? If not how mush is it?

I was using eyeconnect, all i got was errors, garbage

they give you a trial period... can't remember how long it is... but I found it to be worth the price and ended up buying the key for it. I've been using it for probably 2 years now.

medialink problem...

I also bought Medialink and am getting the same message

"MediaLink could not start because port 1900 or 9386 is in use. Please quit any application that may be using these ports, wait a few minutes and try again."

my firewall is open and not sure where to go next.. I thought it would be easier..

can anyone help?
