iMac and upcoming Air or 16" and upcoming Air?

I really like super portable Macs and never owned an iMac. At the same time I currently use the intel 16" and enjoy the size around the house but not the stuttery performance. If your use case is 95% inside house, which setup would you get. I dont like regular 4k monitors. I want the best PPi money can buy and I have 20/20 vision so I scale for smallest size on Mac. I love looking directly at the screen instead of looking around to not fatigue my eyes and head as I read text. Anyone with the same scenario?

After 10 years with MB, MB pros &Airs we are using an iMac now for half a year. Its much more ergonomic and a joy to use if you have a proper desk and office chair

If you have a home office and work from home then an iMac is far more comfortable to use on a daily basis than a laptop.
