IMac as external Monitor for PC

Hi All,

I am purchasing a gaming PC and wanted to avoid buying another monitor since I have a beautiful one in my iMac. Is there a way to use the iMac as a monitor for the PC? I already have boot camp installed on it.

Depends on your iMac model...if you have anything from 2009 till 2014 without a Retina display, Target Display Mode will work. However, 27" 5K iMac from 2013 till now and the 21.5" 4K iMac don't have Target Display Mode.
