iMac as External PC Monitor for Gaming

Here is the idea:

I have a iMac5,1 2.33 Core Duo 20' that I want to use as an external display for a PC. Can I do this?

No, as the older iMacs do not support target display mode.

You could sell that iMac for near $600 if its still nice.

You could get a nice 22" display with a ton of money left over.
