Now i've had a weird idea and i wonder if someone else has done this before.

I often need to work on location and so i take my ageing (2012) macbook pro with me. The work consists of lightroom tethering and photoshop.
When on location i mostly use it plugged in since it's in use for a longer period. I rarely use the laptop on the move.

My biggest issue with my old macbook is the screen, it's small and not very sharp.

I could buy a new macbook, but even the 16" isn't that much bigger. An air would be powerfull enough to but the screen is even smaller.

So i've had the idea to buy a iMac and take that with me. The screen is much bigger and better than a laptop and the price is much less than a 16" mpb.

I would go for the version with a vesa mount and find a suitable portable stand. I would also need a fitting case or even mount it in a case and use like that.

If anyone has done this, i would love to hear which solutions you found for stand or cases.
