iMac - Bootcamp second monitor flicker problem

Hello mac power users,

A user down here
I have this 20" Intel iMac with BootCamp running windows XP and using minidvi to vga adapter to put in a second monitor.
Well, here's what happens, i followed tutorial on the web to make it work.
Well it actually "works" but the problem is that the screen flickers always and it's not really cool. It just doesn't stay there.

I did this before and it worked..

Don't know why it flickers. The monitor is working because my macbook works on it.

Yeah if it is a CRT try adjusting the refresh rate.

Right click on the Desktop>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Monitor.

I tried adjusting the refresh rate, didn't work

I have the same problem with using my TV as a monitor from my macbook when running XP. My TV is a CRT, and I selected the various refresh rates from 60 mghtz up, none seemed to work. Any other ideas?
