Hey Everyone,

I got a problem.
I have a Late 2014 5k iMac and Bose Acoustimass 3 series V speakers.

Is there anyway I can set these up without buying a very expensive receiver. I received the speakers for Christmas and don't really want to drop $$$ on a receiver.
Any raw wire-to-aux adapter or anything??

Thank you in advance!

I don't know how many watts you need, but TriPath amplifiers can be very affordable. Some of them even have headphone jacks, which will will save you the annoyance of
POP, buzz.

$%^&, why do I always forget to turn off the amp before unplugging things from the headphone jack?
(My signal chain is Imac's SPDIF--->SMSL DAC/headphone amp--> AudioSource A100--> Klipsch speakers)

Probably would have been a bit cheaper if I didn't acquire things piecemeal, but it sounds great
