This thing is REALLY hot. smcfancontrol says it's only around 40-41 degrees, yet the top is BURNING. What gives? Is the aluminum just adsorbing the heat? Thanks.

I checked mine after playing WOW, and it was 108°F with a probe on the metal.

Felt a lot hotter, but it is aluminum and a really good conductor of heat.

Which is why an aluminum pan works so good on the stove, transfers the heat from one side to the other.
