Hello!
I currently have a MBP (mid-2012), 2.5 GHz i5, 16G with a Intel HD Graphics 4000. However, I'm looking to start editing photos and videos (iPhone and GoPro) into clips for YouTube, etc. No multi-camera angle, less than 10:00 in length and only 1080p. I just don't trust it in video editing.
My question is, I'm looking to upgrade to an iMac for screen size and speed. If I'm using it for only the above with an external HD, will the 21.5" i5 do the trick or will I need to upgrade to 27" i7? I'll be using FinalCut or Premiere Pro for editing video.
I'm trying to stay within a budget and don't think based on what I'm doing I need the iMacPro. I'm really not knowledgeable with all the spec details so any help would be appreciated. Is there an older iMac version (like 2015) that I could be looking at as well?
Thanks again in advance.
