I bought a iMac in november after waiting all summer for leopard so i could buy my first mac. For the money the iMac was a better buy than a MacBook.

Now i'm going to college and im getting a MacBook as my graduation present. I am kinda bummed i spent all that money on this beautiful computer and now its going to just sit.

My question is:

Is there a way i can play my XBOX 360 off of it and/or Watch tv off of it? Then i can bring it to my dorm.

is there anyway i can play my xbox in HD? Like a component to mac or something

lets not get greedy.

to be honest I dont know that kind of stuff about the Elgato - but just be glad there is a solid, reliable way to do everything you've asked for.

and cheap too - check out the pricing for it.. its really remarkable.

enjoy.

Hey if i spent 1500 on my mac and there is a way to game in HD then id love to know how haha.

I know you can receive HD channels on the TV tuner..

personally, the 360 and PS3 look so ridiculously awesome on the 24'' screen already, I dont care for HD gaming.. but somebody else might know.

its a worthy investment, considering your needs though..

hooking up a videogame system to a computer is not a good idea - there will be a lag.
