I'm wondering if people who are having these condensation problem are setting up their iMacs the second they bring them into their homes? Remember, when you bring electrical components from one climate to another (i.e. from an outdoor climate to an indoor climate), you need to let it sit for at least an hour or two before plugging it in and turning it on. That way the equipment will be at room temperature and condensation will not occur.
The key to this is have patience...yes, you want to play with your new system right away, but resist the temptation for just a little while and your system will love you more than you love it when you finally flip the switch.![]()
Condensation has just appeared on my 24"! Had it about a month. I was installing bootcamp at the time. Will it disappear? Should I turn it off to let it cool down?
