Imac cracked screen solution

Hello I have recently purchased 2017 27 inch iMac. Long story short screen on the left side is kinda shattered. It doesn't affect usability but sure looks very very ugly. Are there any kind of wraps or stickers that could cover the cracked spot? I have seen several but they only cover the bottom. Please can someone help me with any bright ideas? I don't have warranty so I'am definetly not going to change the screen. I have attached an image.

Your image did not upload. Where exactly on the left side is the cracked spot? Changing out the display on a 2017 iMac will be expensive since the screen and glass are glued together.

I know the cracked spot can be distracting and annoying, but it looks like it's far enough to the left and small enough not to obscure the display. If you can, it's best to ignore it rather than try to cover it up. I'm not sure you could find something that would work anyway.

I'd get some shiny black tape.
Then cut and trim a piece just large enough to cover the broken spot...
