iMac CTO shipped from netherlands?

i ordered my CTO iMac a few days ago and it shipped last night. This morning i checked the tracking number with UPS and the first location listed yesterday was NL. I presume that is the Netherlands, am i right? I just wanted to know if it is usual for cto imacs to ship from there because i've never heard of anyone else's coming from there.

by the way, i've customized it with iWork pre-installed, apple remote and apple battery charger.

I've attached a screen shot of the tracking information so i can make sure i'm not reading it wrong.

Eindhoven is the place where your Apple Remote and Battery Charger will be added to the shipment. Your iMac most probably came from Czech Republic. To confirm this, check your serial number as soon as you receive it. Serial number starting with VMxxx... are from Czech Republic.

oh right, i thought it would have something to do with the remote and charger! i've only ever heard of them shipping from china but czech republic also seems possible. i'll be sure to check the serial number when i get it - thanks for your reply!

Curious... the one I'm returning is going to the Netherlands... But when it came it was from Ireland. Is it normal to come from Ireland for European delivers?

I've seen in other forums they usually ship from ireland to the uk, i don't know about the rest of europe but i presume from ireland too.`mine is customized to order so it had to come from far away - not just the nearest apple warehouse.

Mine was a 21.5' i5 BTO too, I'm in Spain, and it came from Ireland... Guess they had some of the common BTO models in the warehouse in Ireland that were previously built in China. Or are they being built in Ireland, too?

I'm not really sure. I suppose they might have common imac models in the warehouse.
