Im going to buy an iMac tomorrow (My first mac!) Im going to buy a refurbished one.
Should i get the current 2.4GHz 20" iMac with these specs

Refurbished iMac 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
20-inch glossy widescreen display
1GB memory
250GB hard drive
8x Superdrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Built-in iSight camera

Or for E80 more get

Refurbished iMac 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
20-inch glossy widescreen display
1GB memory
320GB hard drive
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Built-in iSight camera

What do you think worth the extra?? I will use it for gaming, music and movies mainly but I'm not that heavy a user.

Save for a few more weeks and buy a 24" :)

Seriously, get the newer of the two.

Graphics

What about the better graphics in the older imac tho??

Would the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB be much better than the ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB??

From what I can see at the Apple store (US) they are the same vintage. Both Aluminum 20". The HD 2600 pro is the optional video card. Here's some performance benchmarks. Looks like, while not as good as the Nvidia 7600 the 2600 out performs the 2400.

So whats the verdict?? Would the new processor make up for any short comings? Or should i get the older more expensive one??
